Assisted a Buffalo, NY based hospital in the enhancement of several reports dealing with patient census and hospital billing. Provided consulting services to help standardize reports and create uniform coding criteria in preparation for conversion to an entirely new hardware and software platform.

Hospital Database Conversion
Designed and developed a series of ETL programs and accompanying JCL to convert historical and current patient records from existing Honeywell IDS database system to IBM Hospital Management System using IDMS.
The entire project took nearly a year. My role involved leading the Data Mapping efforts between all tables/fields related to Patient Census and Patient Accounting. In addition, I created or redesigned about 20 reports on the IBM side to corresponding to existing report formats on the Honeywell side.

First – Sales Logix CRM Implementation
Managed a team of four people in the installation and extensive customization of the Sales Logix software. Planned and directed the import of several purchased prospecting databases. Developed interface to external data sources. Conducted training seminars at various locations throughout the United States for the sales force.
