ACCPAC Notepad

A product originally developed for internal use – it was subsequently enhanced and re-packaged for commercial sale. I developed the technical specifications, managed the development of the product, coordinated external advertising and creative efforts and helped introduce it at Comdex. This add-on to Computer Associates Accounts Receivable software allows the user to enter and categorize extended notes about a client. It was used internally to provide marketing information, historical service records and directions to a customer’s site.

Terra Firma – Business Startup Consulting

Consulted with an individual wishing to start a landscaping business.   Helped design complete marketing package, prepared incorporation paperwork, consulted on form of business, developed initial advertising, helped secure funding.

Accounting Software

For a printing firm; modified Real World accounting software for specialized business requirements.  Supervised additional staff in completing the project.

Accounting Software

For   a   liquor   distributor;   modified   standard   accounts   receivable   and   inventory  reporting   software   to conform to the specialized requirements of their business.

POS/Accounting

Designed  a fully  integrated  Point-Of-Sale  accounting   package  for  the  TRS-80  microcomputer. This package involved writing a database management system and screen I/O utility package. Subsequently managed its development and handled all aspects of its nationwide commercial launch.
